As a behavioral researcher and designer, Sarah believes that context matters. Her research methods and design strategies are centered around analyzing the context in which humans live – uncovering motivators for decisions and mapping physical and social environments. Her process is rooted in partnerships with local community members – experts in the context and essential co-designers of sustainable solutions. Her work has informed agriculture, health, market development, and nutrition program investments; her research tools have served as templates for research investigating community resilience, food environments, food security, nutrition, and sustainable agricultural and health systems.
