Celestine Njuguna is Deputy Lead of the G7 Partnership Secretariat at GRID Impact, where she drives strategic coordination and program delivery across complex, multi-stakeholder partnerships advancing financial inclusion for women in Africa.
With over a decade of experience, Celestine has led high-impact, multi-country programs spanning financial inclusion, gender equity, agriculture, and women’s economic empowerment across Africa and Southeast Asia. Prior to GRID Impact, she served as Program and Partnerships Lead at IDEO.org Nairobi, where she managed diverse portfolios and scaled innovative solutions from research and design through to execution.
She brings a blend of strategic design, program governance, partnership building, and business development that translates ambitious vision into accountable, measurable results. Her work has earned the trust of leading global and regional partners, including the Gates Foundation, Mastercard Foundation, Standard Chartered Foundation, Primark, UN Women, UNCDF, the World Bank, and a range of government and private-sector actors.
Known for her ability to bridge strategy and execution, Celestine turns complex challenges into operational excellence while cultivating the strong, trust-based partnerships that drive lasting impact. She is based in Nairobi, Kenya.
